Barack Hussein Obama spoke to a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute and supposedly spoke to them about the Declaration of Independence. He purposefully misquoted the founding fathers with these words: "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, endowed with certain unalienable rights, life and liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." He left out "by their Creator." Since this was a quote he had to have calculated to do just that, leave out the name "Creator." Probably no one in the audience missed this gaff. For the last few weeks Hussein has been getting chummy with the Hispanics for a very specific reason. He's going to do something for them that will endear the crowd concerning illegal and criminal foreigners who try to sneak into our country and receive all the medical and social security benefits they can get. The President is really opposed to Christianity, though he tries to deny the same. In 1940, President Franklin D. Roosevelt said: "Those forces (Nazism) hate democracy and Christianity as two phases of the same civilization. They oppose democracy because it is Christian. They oppose Christianity because it practices democracy." Inside the Jefferson Memorial we have these words by Jefferson: "God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure whenever we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that his justice cannot sleep forever." (AFA Journal) We are being lulled asleep by leaders that do not share the spiritual standards of Christianity. I see no turnaround taking place in our culture! Dr. Mal Couch (12/10) |
