NO MORE GOVERNMENT FREE-BEES

You have to take care of yourself! Read carefully Joshua 17:12-18. The children of Ephraim and Manasseh complained to Joshua that they needed more territory because they were so numerous. Joshua then urges them to go up into the forests and clear the land to provide more space "since you are a numerous people whom the Lord has thus far blessed" (v. 14). But they moan and groan! "The hill country is not enough for us …" (v. 16). Joshua says in so many words "Too bad!" You need to go and provide for yourselves. Stop complaining! "The hill country shall be yours. For though it is a forest, you shall clear it, and to its farthest borders it shall be yours; for you shall drive out the Canaanites, even though they have chariots of iron and though they are strong" (v. 18).
