THE BARNA GROUP

Recently, this survey organization made the following comments after interviewing many people about their religious beliefs. Please take careful note!

"Half of Americans recently surveyed now believe Christianity is just one of many options for genuine faith.

"Barna, the group's founder, believes the study confirms that more Americans are adopting a pluralistic mindset.

"Americans are increasingly very accepting of a diverse array of faiths. They're less likely to think that Christianity is right or accurate in what it teaches.

"The survey finds that many Americans are adopting their own ideas about faith, apart from God's Holy Word.

"People are deriving their biblical literacy and their views of spirituality from conversations that they have with friends, and they give that equal weight to things they might get in church or from other religious settings. They'll get their faith views from their own personal reflections as well as from their personal experiences and observations."

I have been saying now for months that we are galloping into the apostasy. This is clear proof that this is so. We are right behind what has happened in Europe many decades ago, and that we would be following the Europeans, I predicted as well. Only dispensatinalists fully understand what is happening because the Scriptures clearly tell us that the dispensation of the church will fail. Things will be made right only after the world comes through the prophesied judgment of the tribulation, followed by the return of Christ to reign and rule worldwide from Jerusalem.

Thousands are being misled by the false teachings of covenant theology that foolishly says the church is Israel and that God is through with the Jews. This heresy is known as replacement theology! Covenant theology also says the church is the promised millennial kingdom. Covenant theology proclaims a dual hermeneutic: taking part of the Bible literally and part of it, especially eschatology, allegorically, or in a "spiritualized" way. It is heresy to deny the actual return of Christ as Israel's King! –Dr. Mal Couch
