The wind is blowing, however, and evangelicals are missing their edge because we are going the way of the world. I was trained with the best of scholarship with four advanced degrees from the best schools at the time, during the 50s and 60s. But the schools I attended are departing from their moorings and going liberal slowly and by degree. Us old guys were well trained but the younger guys are not being so "learned."
