WE’RE LIED TO AGAIN!

We knew the push would come. The push to put women in combat even though all of the evidence is against this practice.

Major General Anthony Cucolo, who leads some 22,000 troops in Iraq, has called for the court martial of women who become pregnant while deployed. Of course, the liberal and communist senators such as: Barbara Mikulski, Barbara Boxer, Jeanne Shaheen, and Kirsten Gillibrand, have raised a fire storm, saying this is intrusive in the freedom of women, who have the right to get pregnant when they want to. The General rightly argues that the drag on the military is overwhelming and does a disservice to the war effort. Can you imagine if men had some kind of equal right to do personally what they wanted, and yet had a job to do that would be hindered by their personal actions? By the way, it was in communist Russia, in the beginning, that called for equality of women even in combat. All sex differences were to be eliminated in Soviet Russia!

The bigger issue is that women are clearly not qualified to be in combat positions. And, you do not put your children and women in harm's way. Women want that so they can show, even if they are wounded or killed, that they are equal with men, and of course they are not!

The General argues that he has a responsibility to all the troops and can do with them as he pleases as the commander-in-chief of the 22,000 combatants.

Now women are pushing for combat flying and think that it is their right to do so if they wish! We knew that the push would not stop. The camel is getting its nose in the tent and it cannot be stopped.

Everyone, especially pastors, need to get the new book out (2007) "Co-ed Combat" by Kingsley Browne, published by Sentinel. It is full of objective statistics that show women are not capable of handling rough and realistic combat situations. Plus, the fact of the horrible mistreatment of women who are captured! If I had the money, I'd purchase the book for everyone who would be interested. What's true also, is that we now have a new generation who sees no problem with women in combat, homosexuality, abortions, etc. They have been acclimated to accept the lies!

But the apostles Paul and Peter tell us plainly what the roles of women are. Women are to be inclined "to good works, as BEFITS WOMEN making a claim to godliness" (1 Tim. 2:10). In other words, the role of women is to set a standard of godliness, and womanhood and motherhood that cannot be replaced. Women do not know of the influence they have by being a woman. Dr. Lacy Couch is convinced that many women do not like being women! They want to be in the company of men and they repudiate their own sex and yes, even some want to be men!

Peter adds: the roles of women are so important. Women are to submit to their husbands, win them over to the Lord "by their behavior." They are examples by their "chaste and respectful behavior." They are not to live simply by the external "but by the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentile and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God." They, by their very nature, are the "weaker vessels, because they are women" (1 Pet. 3:1-7).

Are the churches and the parents telling their girls this? I hear of more younger men who say that they like a certain girl because "she is so strong." That is not an outstanding quality for a woman. The things Paul and Peter mention are the qualities that God says are most important!

Has the culture and the society won in dictating to Christians what really counts in life? It seems so! – Dr. Mal Couch (Jan., 10)
